This policy also ensures that all of the required sub-trades for your project, hired by Sawtooth Construction, have the appropriate insurance coverage as well.
Sawtooth Construction is happy to provide you with a Certificate of Insurance upon request.
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
A construction contract is a valuable tool for both parties – us, the business providing a service, and YOU the client. This ensures that the parameters and scope of the work completed are understood and there is no confusion throughout the process.
The contract will include vital information such as:

• Payment schedule layout
• Discusses your warranty
• Additional critical information to protect you
Our clients are always provided with a construction contract and allowed the time to read it over with thorough consideration. If any questions or comments arise once it has been read, they may be brought forward for careful consideration.

WORKSAFE BC INSURED
Did you know that if you hire someone to work on your property and they don’t have WorkSafe BC coverage (also known as WCB) and they get hurt that you are liable?
If someone is working on your property, you are considered the general contractor and they are your employee – this means you are responsible for their safety. If any harm happens to this individual, you will be liable.

We will work with you to ensure that your end result is something that is functional and visually pleasing at the same time while meeting any other requirements you may have and will also ensure that the best quality materials are used within your budget.

With Sawtooth Construction you are covered with a 1 year warranty on your project. This covers any defect in work due to faulty materials and/or workmanship*. You are also provided with the details of any warranties by manufacturers or suppliers on individual materials, products, or systems supplied by Sawtooth Construction.
And, of course, if your choose Sawtooth Construction for your new home build there will be many warranties available for you. These will be discussed in detail.
